Mrs. Bhawana Dattaprasad Kerkar
Founder and Chief Functionary
Bhawana Kerkar, a Clinical Psychologist, has 25 years of experience in the area of Psychological Testing and Counselling. During the course of her career, she has partnered with the Bhrihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide service to the BMC’s Special School section. She was also associated as Consultant with Mahindra & Mahindra (Tractor Division) . Bhawana is a key member of Umang since its inception - June-2000 and provides leadership and oversight for Umang’s operations on a day-to-day basis.
Mr. Dattaprasad V. Kerkar

Mr. Dattaprasad Kerkar is a Director and India head of L.S.Spectrum Solutions
Pvt.Ltd ,Subsidiary of LS telcom AG Germany. He along with Bhawana Kerkar
has been the founding member of Umang and is actively involved in supporting
Umang’s operations.
Mr. Rajendra Dattaram Kordey
Trustee
Mr. Raju Kordey is an Advocate of Mumbai High Court, specializing in Housing
and Redevelopment. He is a key advisor to Umang for its strategy and operations
and is part of the Governance Board of Umang. He is the President of Dharavi
Bachao Samiti, an NGO working in the interest of the development of Dharavi
and is also the editor of Dharavi Times.
Mr. Sudhakar Pandurang Sonawane
Trustee
Mr. Sudhakar Sonawane is the Managing Director of Keerti Computers, which has
the largest network of Computer Education centers in Mumbai and Thane.
Mrs. Ratna Kunal Mehta
Trustee
Mrs. Ratna a practicing Astro-Vastu Architect and Theta Healer by profession, is also
a post graduate in Social Development Management from SPJIMR. She supports Umang in fund raising ,Networking and Sponsorships.
Mrs Heena Jayesh Tanna
Trustee
Heena Tanna is one of the directors of Shree Sai Group of Companies, Kandivali (W).She is known by many different identities such as human entrepreneur and a sports lover. She is currently involved in many philanthropic and charity activities
