Mr. Dattaprasad Kerkar is the Director and India Head of L.S. Spectrum Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of LS Telcom AG, Germany, a global leader in radio spectrum management and wireless network solutions.
A distinguished professional with a diverse career, Mr. Kerkar previously worked with Loksatta, one of Maharashtra’s leading Marathi newspapers, where he made significant contributions to journalism. He is also a noted author, having written several books, including Saddam Hussein & Iraq war, stock exchange today & tomorrow, Boardroom battle and other publications covering social, political, and contemporary issues.
Together with Mrs. Bhawana Kerkar, he is a Founding Trustee of Umang Charitable Trust. From its inception, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s vision and growth. As the initial financial supporter of Umang, he laid the foundation for its activities and helped establish a sustainable model that has enabled the Trust to serve children with special needs for over two decades.
Beyond his financial support, Mr. Kerkar has remained actively involved in guiding Umang’s operations, strategic planning, and long-term development.
