When we founded Umang, our vision was to create a sanctuary of hope and empowerment for children navigating developmental disabilities. Today, Umang stands as a dedicated non-profit organization specifically committed to providing comprehensive, inter-disciplinary care for autistic individuals, slow learners, and children facing multiple cognitive or physical challenges.
We work closely with children experiencing a wide spectrum of conditions, including Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual and Learning Disabilities, Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, and various behavioral challenges. To support their unique journeys, we offer a complete range of clinical services that seamlessly bridge initial pediatric assessments with targeted, continuous therapies. Our goal is to nurture every child’s potential, providing the exact tools they need to build confidence and achieve true independence.
Beyond our immediate centers, our mission compels us to reach deeper into the community. We actively extend our outreach to differently-abled children in municipal schools who are in critical need of specific treatments. Because we firmly believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of a child’s progress, Umang proudly provides completely free education, alongside essential Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Remedial Education, for underprivileged children and their families.
